The Center for Cognitive Brain Imaging often has openings for Research Assistants. Research Assistants provide support for fMRI studies of language comprehension, decision making, and visual problem-solving. Duties include collecting and analyzing data from fMRI and behavioral experiments; organizing and maintaining data files; using brain imaging software to define specific brain regions; recruiting subjects.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in psychology or equivalent research experience; familiarity with Windows; ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Prior experience in a cognitive psychology research setting and experience with statistical software packages preferred.
